Spinal decompression
For the back that makes you plan how to get out of the car.

It's the long meeting you sit through on the edge of your chair.
The drive you break up with stops because sitting has gotten hard.
The way you brace with one hand on the counter before you bend.
When your back or neck is like this, you start measuring your day in how long you can sit, stand or sleep. You deserve more than measuring.
What it is
Spinal decompression is non-surgical. You lie on a padded table that gently and slowly lengthens the spine in cycles, taking pressure off the discs. There are no needles and no medication. Most people tell us it feels calm, and you hold a safety switch that pauses the table any time.
Will this help my disc?
Our KDT Neural Flex table uses an FDA-cleared traction system for both the neck and the low back. It's cleared to help relieve sciatica and pain that travels into the arm or leg, and pain associated with herniated, bulging, protruding or prolapsed discs, degenerative disc and joint disease, facet syndrome, pinched nerve roots, stiff, hypomobile joints and disc-related pain. If you've been told you have a disc problem, or pain runs down your arm or leg, it may be worth a look. It isn't right for everyone, and that's why we look first.
A real look first
It's never the first step. Every visit starts with a brief exam. Dr. Brett or Dr. Derrek examines your spine, explains what they find and decides whether decompression fits. We'll review your health history first to make sure it's a fit for you. If it fits, you'll get the plan and the costs before anything begins. If not, we'll tell you plainly and talk about what might help instead.
Part of a plan
Decompression works alongside your chiropractic care, not in place of it. Your plan may also include adjustments, hands-on muscle work and exercises to support the muscles around your spine. We recheck as you go. How long can you sit now? Is the leg pain reaching as far? Are you sleeping better? Your answers guide what comes next.

Questions about spinal decompression
Do I need surgery?
That's a decision for you and a surgeon, and we won't tell you to skip their advice. Many people want to know whether non-surgical care makes sense to try first. Come in, and we'll take a real look and tell you honestly whether decompression is appropriate for you.
I've been told I might need surgery. Can I still come in?
Yes. Bring any imaging or notes you have. We'll be honest about what we think, either way.
Does decompression hurt?
Most people find it calm and comfortable. You hold a switch that pauses the table any time.
How long is a session?
Most sessions run 15 to 30 minutes.
How many sessions will I need?
Decompression is usually a series, not a single visit. Dr. Brett or Dr. Derrek will give you a plan, and the costs, after your exam. You decide.
Do you take insurance?
We're a cash-pay clinic. HSA and FSA cards are welcome, and we also see personal injury cases, like car accidents. Our team will go over fees before your first visit.
Individual results vary.
A place to become whole. Let's start with a conversation.
Tell us what's going on and what you'd like to get back to. We'll tell you honestly whether this fits, before you commit to anything.
