Chiropractic and hands-on care
For the neck that won't turn to check your blind spot.

Maybe it's the way you get out of bed now, slowly, one piece at a time.
Or the drive home when you can't settle into the seat.
Or the way you've started turning your whole body just to look over your shoulder.
None of it is dramatic. It just keeps showing up. And after a while you stop noticing how much of your day you've rearranged around it.
What chiropractic care looks like here
Chiropractic at Bio Medical is more than a quick adjustment and out the door. It's built on the ARK Method, which looks at how your spine, muscles, balance and nervous system work together, not just at the spot that hurts.
Depending on what we find, your care may include:
- Chiropractic adjustments to restore motion in the joints of the spine.
- Hands-on muscle work for tissue that's been guarding and tight.
- Therapeutic exercise and activation so the muscles that support your spine show up when you need them.
- Balance work when steadiness is part of the picture.
- Supportive therapies like spinal decompression, laser or SoftWave, when they fit.
Will this help my back?
It's the question everyone asks themselves in the parking lot. The honest answer: it depends on what's going on, and that's what the exam is for. People most often come to us for low back pain and sciatica, neck pain and stiffness, headaches that start in the neck and shoulders, and pain after a car accident or a fall. Chiropractic care may help when the problem is connected to how your spine and the muscles around it are moving. If it isn't, we'll tell you, and help you find the right next step.
A real look first
Every visit starts with a brief exam. Dr. Brett or Dr. Derrek looks at how you move, not just where it hurts, and explains what they find in plain words. Your first visit includes a test treatment, so you can feel how your body responds before you decide anything.
You'll never be rushed, and your questions are welcome. If you'd rather not be adjusted a certain way, say so. It's your body and your care.
After a car accident
We see personal injury cases. If you've been in a wreck, even one that seemed minor, a brief exam can help you understand what's going on. Call or text and our team will explain how it works.
Close to home
We're at 75 Center Circle in Sulphur, and we care for families from Lake Charles, Westlake, Moss Bluff, Carlyss, Vinton, Jennings, Beaumont, Orange and across Southwest Louisiana and Southeast Texas.
Questions about chiropractic care
Do I need a referral?
No. Apply online, or call or text us to get started.
Does an adjustment hurt?
Most people find it comfortable. Dr. Brett or Dr. Derrek explains each step first, and you can ask us to stop or change the approach at any time.
How many visits will I need?
It depends on what we find and how you respond. After your exam and test treatment, you'll hear a recommendation and the reasons for it. You decide.
How long is a visit?
Most sessions run 15 to 30 minutes.
Do I need surgery?
That isn't a call a chiropractor makes, and we won't pretend otherwise. What we can do is take a real look and tell you honestly whether conservative care like ours makes sense to try, or whether you should see another specialist.
Do you take insurance?
We're a cash-pay clinic. HSA and FSA cards are welcome, and we also see personal injury cases, like car accidents. Our team will go over fees before your first visit.
Individual results vary.
A place to become whole. Let's start with a conversation.
Tell us what's going on and what you'd like to get back to. We'll tell you honestly whether this fits, before you commit to anything.
